A meeting of KESC city co-ordination committee was held at the head office to finalise the arrangements for maintaining stable power supply during the remaining days of Ashura Muharram. Presided over by Jamil Gul Sheikh Incharge (Distribution) and attended by senior member of the committee Moulana Muhammad Hanif, KESC Chief Engineers Shabbir Solangi, M. Shabbir, Anis Qureshi, Dy. Chief Engineers Amir Bux Memon, S. Abid Hussain, G.R. Bhatti, A.H. Perchani, Superintendent Engineer Anis Ansari and Executive Engineer Mustajab.

Incharge Distribution Jamil Gul Sheikh informed the meeting that all arrangements have been made for standby generators as well as feeder priority at the main imam bargahs/mosques and MTL vehicles with staff will also remain all the time with the main processions from 8th to 10th Muharram. He further informed that no power shutdown would be done by KESC in the city during these days to ensure uninterrupted power supply.

Senior member co-ordination committee Maulana Muhammad Hanif appreciated the power supplies arrangements being made by KESC.-PR
